Job Duties: Responsible to ensure that guests' food and beverage expectations are being exceeded, responsible for assisting all other departments to fulfill their duties as needed, to create experiecnces that people are amazed by, to smile, make eye contact and welcome every guest, be knowledgeable about the history and feastures of the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort, work with the assistant F&B Supervisor to ensure food orders are received accurately, and that food storage areas are kept clean and tidy, implement effective recycling initiatives, guidelines ensuring recyclable materials are discarded responsibly, work with the entire staff to ensure a high quality of service, ensure that liquor inventory is adequate and secur, work with reservations to ensure the successful coordination of meal service and a high quality product, work to develop ideas and research regarding the acquisition of equipment related to the F&B department, maintain the equipment in inventory, ensure food safe practices are being followed at all times and the Food safety plan and Quality Standards are up to date and adhereed to, ensure overall cleanliness of food facilites is of a high standard, ensure safety is a priority for every guest and every team member, instruct staff to report any unsafe conditions to a supervisor or managers, set good examples, ensure proper working condition of all equiment and that staff have been effectively trained on their use, prioritize staff safety by ensuring the comletion of monthly safety checklists, provide on going evaluations of F&B working environments including procedures for safety and efficiency purposes, ensure sales goals are met, including total revenue, control expenses including food supply and labor costs as they relate to costs, compile and submit monthly food and beverage inventory reports to the accounting divsion, ensure accuracy of food and veverage invoices, forward to accountion in a timely manner, with the staff to oversee daily operations of the food venues, work close with food and beverage staff to ensure consistency of guest experience, maintain good relationships with industry personnel and suppliers, implement training of F & B staff, prepare and deliver performance evaluations for all the staff in a timely manner, ensure schedules shifts are being fulfilled according to existing budget, participate in the on going coaching of F& B staff to ensure optimal effectiveness, provide team members with a cnsistent example of outstanding guest service, ensure that the food presentation is maintained at a high level of quality, assist in the daily operatin of all departments as required, remain committed to excellent guest service, at least three years guest service experience, working knolwdge of microsoft excel, good knowledge of cash handling and cash reconciliation procedures, anticipate guest needs and conitnually search for way to increase guest satisfactin, to communicate to the staff and instruct them in how to effectively meet and exceed our guest high expecations, develop needs of the staff, give timely and specific feedback and hepful coaching, to contribute to an effective operations team by maintaining a positive presnce in the departement at all times, to ensure all administrative duties are completed and that no details are overlooked in creating efficient food service with hgh food sfae standers.
