Job Duties: Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, developing, implementing and coordinating entertainment which includes special features, guest activities, supply procurement, group sales coordiantino, birthday parties, team building, manage the Black Ruby, make a weekly schedule of activities, make cost comparison for expenses of special events and make purchases, schedule labor as requird by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all position are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objective are met, excercise discretion and independent judgement in selection of delivery of guest activities, books live entertainment, costumed characters for holiday events, coordinate company function, plan children, family and adult activites along with other special events and function, train and schedule hired costume characters, record attendance, conduct communicatoin meetings, reviews, despciplinary action, manage disc jockeys within the resort, chair special events committee to inform managers and coordinates promotional technicques/information and upcoming events, know and train how to use equipment to carry out tasks: (copier, laminator, paper cutter, steamer, etc.) know how to and train all activites and events, cooordinate with group sales for client requested entertainment, train group sales staff in team building and group initiatives, conduct games, contests, competetion and event record guest attendance, create program or activity weekly signage, coordinate advertising and marketing for upcoming special events that coincide and complement Resort marketing and public relations departments, provide event or actvity photos of marketing along with the permission forms signed by any quests that participate, remain fluid and flexible in functions as requirement change based on growth and needs of Resort, setup, decorate, take down, and clean up for acvities, event and holidays, fully understand and comply with all federal, local regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirment of the guest,s excerise discretion and independdent judgement in selection and deliver of guest activities, promote areas of the Resort to guests and be knowledge of areas such as, but not limited to spa,pool, restaurants, kiosks, eatery outlets around on the premises of the resort and golf course, must have experience in recreation management, marketing, entertainment promotion or related field, perferred two years relevant work experience, general knowledge of recreation management, entertainment promotion, and implementation for all ages preferred, skill in oral and written communicatin is required, possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a Public Sound System.
