Job Duties: To ensure kitchens, dishwashing, freezers, garbage room and floors are in a hygienic, tidy manner at all times. Ensure economic use of all equipment used in duties and that machinary used in duties is maintained to high standard at all times. Ensure that minimum breakages occur. Assist in basic food preperation at the supervisor's discretion. Provide detailed training of employees, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with maximum efficiency. Assist in conducting employee evaluations for al steward employees to review their general performance, discuss existing performance and areas of improvements. Ensure that all areas of responsibility are properly staffed, supervised and operating efficiently. Compose roster according to business level and ensure that roster changes have full authorization of the Chief Steward/Asst. Chief Steward.

Qualification Requirements: Minimum of two years previous hotel stewarding experience, preferably in a large operation. Must be available to do emergency relief work when required and be willing to work in non-rostered area when requested. O-Net: Title Job Zone Three: Medium Preparation Needed Education Most occupations in this zone require training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree. Related Experience Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required for these occupations.
