| Job Duties: | Maintain current electricians license or identification card to meet govt regulations. Connect wires to circuit breakers,transformers,or other components Repair or replace wiring,equipment and fixtures using hand tools and power tools Assembles install test and maintain electrical or electronics wiring,equitment appliances apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power toolds Test electrical system and continuity of cicuit in electrical wiring,equiment,and fixtures using testing devises such as ohmmeters,voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of system. use a variety of tools and equiment such as power const.equitment,measuring devises,power tools and testing equipment including oscilliscopes,ammeteres and test lamps Plans layout and installation of electrical wiring,equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes Inspect electrical system equiment and component to identify hazards defects and the needs for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes. Direct and train workers to install,aintain or repair electrical wiring equipment and fixtures Diagnose malfunctioning system apparatus and components using test equipment and handtools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problems. |
