| Job Duties: | Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintenance of ground, gardens and plants nursery Plans landscaping tasks, and instructs workers in taking care of nursery, planting of flowers, and transplanting and pruning of trees and shrubbery. Directs workers in maintenance and repair of driveways, walks, hedges, swings, benches, and other grounds equipment. Directs workers engaged in ground maintenance activities, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse. Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies. Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards. May supervise workers engaged in installing, servicing, and repairing mechanical equipment. |
