| Job Duties: | Receive, store, and issue sales floor merchandise. Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with merchandise and arrange nerchandise display to attrack customers. May periodically take physical count of stock or check merchandise. Answer customers questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selection. Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished. pack customer purchaces in bags or cartons. Stock shelves, racks,cases, bins, and tables with new or tranferred merchandise. Arrange properties, furniture, merchandise, backdropsand other accessories. Received, open, unpack and issue sales floor merchandise. Transport packages to customers vehicles or deliver it to specified location. Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles. Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct. Requisition merchandise from supplier based on available space, merhandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials. Stamp, attach, or change price tgson merchandise, referring to price list. Design and set up advertising signs and display of merchandise on shelves, vounters, or tables to attrack customers and promote sales. |
