| Job Duties: | •Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. •Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. •Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. •Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. •Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. •Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists. •Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery. •Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges. •Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. •Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. Assists skilled maintenance workers with projects e.g. transporting and/or securing materials completing specific tasks etc. for the purpose of completing projects in a safe efficient manner. Cleans the Resort building/ground areas as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of providing an effective working/learning environment, preventing damage and/or limiting liability exposure. Coordinates with skilled tradesmen and/or assigned supervisors for the purpose of completing projects and work order efficiently. Repairs furniture and building system components for the purpose of ensuring a safe working environment Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns. |

| Qualification Requirements: | High School Graduate or equivalent. 1 to 2 years work experience as general maintenance worker. Preferably has specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: standard methods, materials and tools used in assigned skilled trade; and safety practices and procedures. Must be able to adapt to changing work priorities. Must be able to work flexible schedule including week-ends, nights and holidays. |
