Job Title: Guest Relations Manager
Job Duties: Monitors guest relations personnel to ensure maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt cordial attention from arrival through departure. Monitors guest relations personnel repeat guests and other VIP receive special recognition and service. Informs other operating departments, notably Housekeeping and Food & Beverage on matters that concern them. Establish and maintain effective employee relation. Assists in identifying training needs, develops formal training plans and implements training session for guest - contact personnel. Oversees maintenance of efficient repeat guest history system. Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform, appearance and posture of Guest Relations personnel Handles guest complaints promptly with corrective action. Compiles, analyzes and controls guest relation costs. Oversees and directs all aspects of the guest relations function to achieve the highest possible guest satisfaction within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Holds a degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management. Minimum 2 to 4 years work experience as Front Office Supervisor or Guest Relations Office in a hotel. Fluent in English both oral and written. Multilingual desirable preferably Chinese and Japanese. Excellent communication and customer relations skills, is a proactive problem solver. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion. Proficient in Microsoft Office Program and Property Management System. Able to work flexible schedule including week-ends, nights and holidays.
