Job Duties: Essential Functions: Identify and prioritize business needs to strategically schedule self and staff. Communicate effectively with all contacts. Promote open communication and assist staff with conflict resolution. Implement and monitor the effectiveness of inventory and cash control procedures. Ensure that appropriate products are available and effectively merchandised. Ensure that standards for quality customer service, health, and safety are met.Prepare and submit report as required. maintain the highest level of honesty, integrity, ethical and moral conduct at all times. Conscientiously strive to meet or exceed budgetary goals, understand how to achieve sales increases while maintaining expense controls. Enforce company policies consistently with all associates while providing leadership and maintaining management integrity. Communicate effectively with all contacts. Accept and adapt easily to change. Support all company policies and procedures. Comply with all governmental agency rules and regulations.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: BA degree in appropriate field or equivalent experience. 5+ years retail experience as general manager of high volume ($10 million+ annual sales) Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resource. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge on the following equipment. Computer, POS terminal and scanner; credit/debit/gift card terminal. Telephone, calculator, personal computer, including mouse and keyboard. Fax machine, scanner, photocopier and other standard office equipment. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to work variable shifts,including weekends, nights and holidays. Job requires patience in dealing with guests, accepting feedback and customer criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stressful situations. Incumbent must take pleasure in working with people and have a welcoming personality. Eager to undergo continuous training.
