| Job Duties: | Essential Functions: Identify and prioritize business needs to strategically schedule self and staff. Communicate effectively with all contacts. Ensure that appropriate products are available and effectively merchandised. | Qualification Requirements: | BA degree in appropriate field or equivalent experience. 5+ years retail experience as general manager of high volume ($10 million+ annual sales) Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resource. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge on the following equipment. Computer, POS terminal and scanner; credit/debit/gift card terminal. Telephone, calculator, personal computer, including mouse and keyboard. Fax machine, scanner, photocopier and other standard office equipment. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to work variable shifts,including weekends, nights and holidays. Job requires patience in dealing with guests, accepting feedback and customer criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stressful situations. Incumbent must take pleasure in working with people and have a welcoming personality. Eager to undergo continuous training. |
