| Job Title: | Room and Restaurant Reservations Manager |
| Job Duties: | Manage the day-to-day activities of the Room & Restaurant Reservations Department, including formulating policies, reviewing processes, procedures, and systems for efficiency and effectiveness, and making continuous services improvement. Supervise, coordinate, manage, and monitor the work and activities of the Operations Clerks, Operations Clerk supervisor and other departmental staff. Align department and staff performance in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize staff productivity. Recruit, hire, and discipline subordinate staff. Monitor performance and conduct performance evaluations, address performance deficiencies and implement corrective action as necessary. Ensure quality of services. Identify training needs and staff development resources. Plan and support room bookings and assignment, restaurant bookings and other room and restaurant marketing activities. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Interpret and communicate company work policies, standards, and procedures to staff. Implement and manage operational plans. Advance company managements’ ability to improve service delivery and accountability through the use of data tracking, and analysis. Establish priorities and process improvement strategies in partnership with other company service departments; ensures compliance with new or revised policies, procedures rules and regulations. Develop budget recommendations, researches and review financial impacts and consequences of proposed recommendations; secures resource allocations or seeks alternative resource solutions for the company tour service operations. Resolves staff & customer complaints. Prepare and provide management and statistical reports to management and the executive team and department managers. Resolve technology, facility, and transportation, and other issues that cause disruption to service delivery; manages crises if service delivery is interrupted. Perform other duties as required or as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | High school graduate, GED or equivalent plus a combination equivalent to five years work experience as a tour operations supervisor or manager in a tour/travel agency, sales or service related work and capable of performing the duties of a manager; must be able to speak, read, write and understand Mandarin; must have excellent organizational skills, personable and flexible under pressure; must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record; must be willing to work shifts, evenings, holidays and weekends; a highly motivated, organized, outgoing, with excellent communication, customer, sales and leadership skills an advantage. Knowledge of Japanese language an advantage. |
