| Job Duties: | 1) Repairs and maintains diesel engines used to power machines, such as trucks,backhoe, electric generators, and construction machinery & equipments, using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and machine tools: Diagnoses trouble, disassembles engines, and examines parts for defects and excessive wear. 2) Reconditions and replaces parts, such as pistons, bearings, gears, valves, and bushings, using engine lathes, boring machines, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. 3) May weld and cut parts, using arc-welding and flame cutting equipment. 4) Must be knowledgeable in Auto Electrician works. 5) Must be knowledgeable in operating & repairing dump trucks, backhoes, boom trucks and all other construction equipment and use of related repair tools. 6) All other related duties as may be assigned. |
