| Job Duties: | Start washers,dryers,and turn valves or levers to regulate machine processes and the volume of soap,detergent,water,bleach,starch and other additives,sort and count articles removed from dryers, and fold,iron,or hang them,examine and sort into lots articles to be cleaned according t color,fabric,dirt content,and cleaning technique required,load articles into washers or dryers or direct other workers to perform loading. Clean machine loading. Clean machine filters. Remove items from washers or dryer machines, or direct other workers to do so. Inspect soiled articles to determine sources of stains, to located color imperfections, and to identify items requiring special treatment. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assesment,meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of arms,legs, and moving your whole body, such as lifting, and standing for long periods. Ironing of lines, guest uniforms and performs other duties assigned. |
