Job Title: Human Resources Specialist
Job Duties: Summary of duties: Plan, direct, or coordinate human resource management activities and other administrative support services of the organization. Maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance. Specific tasks: · Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence. · Conduct Basic Indoctrination training to new employees to explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants. · Manage the company’s program for Pilot Record Improvement Act. · Manage the company’s Drug and Alcohol Program including DOT/FAA specific requirements. · Review staffing needs, handle and facilitate recruitment in accordance with company procedures and CNMI and U.S. Labor requirements. Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants. · Coordinate with other departments in managing the company’s training program. · Review Employee Handbook and recommend updates as necessary. · Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, amount of sales or production, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations. · Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions. Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.

Qualification Requirements: · Associates degree in Psychology, Human Resources Management, or Behavioral Science. Bachelors degree preferred. · At least 2 years experience as HR or Admin. Service manager. Experience working with a US Air Carrier as defined in 14 CFR 119 preferred. · Computer literate. Must be proficient in Windows applications. · Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, or any business course · With recent 2 years experience in Human Resources or office administration, background in the airline industry a plus · Proficient in Windows with advanced skills on Word, Excel, and Powerpoint · Proficient in English, written and oral A self starter, highly motivated, trustworthy and able to adapt to a multi-cultural environment. (compensation is based on experience and qualification).
