| Job Duties: | Oversee and direct all food preparation, production, service and storage. May participate in the preparation, seasoning and cooking different variety of food. Responsible for the kitchen’s routine operations, including food preparation, and production. Supervise kitchen staff which include scheduling and provide trainings. Plan price menu items, order supplies and keep records and accounts. Adhere to standard operating procedures for food quality and ensure the kitchen is compliant with the regulatory requirements for food handling sanitation and cleanliness. Assist Executive Chef with overseeing all food storage, preparation and production. Oversee kitchen operations including controlling operations, labor, costs and food costs. Responsible for proper rotation of the all food products, proper storage of food products and proper maintenance of inventory. Uphold proper cleanliness as well as proper maintenance of kitchen and all equipment. Provide leadership, team building and outstanding training for all kitchen employees. Prepare order or requisition form for the necessary food with the concurrence of the Executive Chef. Responsible in staff scheduling based on the daily operations needed. Research and recommend new menu ideas and staying on top of food trends locally and internationally. May be responsible in doing administrative duties such as food costs and inventories. Perform other task as determined and assigned by the Executive Chef. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent. Five to ten years work related experienced. Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, professional, neat and well groomed at all times. Willing to work in flexible shifts, days, weekends and holidays. Proficiency operate basic office equipment, computer and basic computer programs utilized in daily operations. Be able to stand for prolonged period of time. Full understanding of licensing responsibilities and environmental health standards. Highly qualified in preparing variety of food and knowledgeable in food production and processing. Certified Food Handler. |
