| Job Duties: | Controls and monitor a section of the kitchen. Oversee and aid in preparation, cooking and presentation of different variety of food, such as salad, desserts, appetizers and main entrees. Assist Sous Chef in checking completeness of all food needed, kitchen equipment, inventory and delivery. Ensuring kitchen unit is clean, tidy and sanitized at all times. Ensure that all completed jobs is fully check before leaving the unit Work closely to the Sous Chef and other cooks to ensure that the function runs smoothly. Delegate duties to cook working in their section of the kitchen. Monitor to make sure food quality, presentation and safety standards are being adhered to. Troubleshooting any issues arise in their section of the kitchen. Working with the Sous Chef and the kitchen team to maintain high standards in the quality of food both as to its preparation and its presentation. Work in all areas of the kitchen depending on the daily needs of the executive chef and Sous Chef. Perform other task as determined and assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Chef. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Associate Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent. Three to five years work related experienced. Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, professional, neat and well groomed at all times. willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evenings, weekend and holidays. Be able to stand for prolonged period of time . Full understanding of licensing responsibilities and environmental health standards. Highly qualified in preparing variety of food and knowledgeable in food production and processing. Food Handle Certified. |
