| Job Duties: | •Being available for pit duties when required. •Reporting to the Casino General Manager. •Updating procedure manuals. assisting casino marketing & promotions when required. •Resolve customer complaints regarding problems such as payout errors. •Remove suspected cheaters, such as card counters or other players who may have systems that shift the odds of winning to their favor. •Maintain familiarity with all games used at a facility, as well as strategies or tricks employed in those games. •Circulate among gaming tables to ensure that operations are conducted properly, that dealers follow house rules, or that players are not cheating. •Explain and interpret house rules, such as game rules or betting limits. •Monitor staffing levels to ensure that games and tables are adequately staffed for each shift, arranging for staff rotations and breaks and locating substitute employees as necessary. •Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members. •Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.. Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs. •Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training. •Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected operations procedures, changes, and other factors. Train managers and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees. •Monitoring staffing levels. Keeping an accurate training log of all gaming staff, training and/or coordinating training of new dealers, existing dealers in new games & dealers to be supervisors. •Providing orientation and training to new experienced staff. Training and/or coordinating training programs for TCGCC or local educational facilities when requested , informing and/or training staff of any procedural changes pertaining pertaining to table games. •Performs other related duties as may be assigned. |
