| Job Duties: | Areas to clean: 1) HBR Office 2) HBR Staff house 3) HBR Warehouse 4) HBR Perimeter/Grounds Duties: 1) Vacuuming carpets, curtains and upholstered furniture. 2) Cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. 3) Stripping wax from floors, re-waxing and polishing floors. 4) Cleaning and disinfecting laundry and bathroom fixtures, replenishing supplies and reporting defective plumbing fixtures. 5) Operating vacuum cleaners to clean floors, work areas. 6) Removing dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, and fixtures. 7) Applying acids and solvents to surfaces to remove stains and dirt 8) Keeping all areas including all toilets, clean and tidy. This includes washing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning and sweeping as appropriate. 9) Empty wastebaskets, transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. 10) Ensuring that all cleaning equipment/materials are maintained in a safe, clean and efficient working condition. Where an item of equipment requires repair this should be reported to the Administrator 11) Cleaning of glass windows and doors. 12) Mapping of floors. 13) Hang draperies, and dust window blinds. 14) Other related cleaning functions as may be assigned. |
