| Job Duties: | 1.) As a Water Operator, He or She is responsible in taking measurement of water quality, interpret results and make adjustments to the chemicals used to make water potable. 2.) He or She is responsible to record or survey water valves locations and exercises valves, change chlorine cylinders, test backflow devices and water mains. 3.) Responsible in checking the Water’s PH level, TDS, Salinity & Temperature and maintains records of sampling and analysis procedures and results. 4.) He or She prepares reports for the Division of Environmental Quality and Department of Public Health, as required. 5.) Implement and observe cleanliness, appropriate safety precautions, sanitation, procedures, and follow rules and regulations implemented by the governing authorities. 6.) Will perform perform manual labor and semi-skilled work in the maintenance, repair, construction and installation of water systems, including pipe lines, valves, fire hydrants, pumps, meters, back flow devices and services. 7.) Will work closely and report directly to the General Manager for any accomplishments and issues that may come up. |

| Qualification Requirements: | 1.) Must have at least a Bachelor degree and possessed a Water Distribution Certificate. 2.) Must have the knowledge and capability to check the Water’s PH level, TDS, Salinity & Temperature and maintains records of sampling and analysis procedures and results. 3.) Must have the knowledge to read water and pump meters; check pumps, chlorinates, flush and disinfect water lines and locate water lines with instruments or from prints. 4.) Must have a good writing and speaking skills. 5.) Must be able to drive and have a valid CNMI driver’s license |
