| Job Duties: | - Monitors, reviews and analyzes on-going claims with claims department. - Oversees all claims investigation and interviews claimants, doctors, medical specialist, police or fire officers, or employers to get additional information on respective claims. - Sets up Loss Reserves and provides reserve recommendations to ensure reserving activities are consistent with corporate policies. - Confer with legal counsel on claims requiring litigation. - Supervise claims adjusters to ensure that adjusters have followed proper methods of claims handling. - Verify and analyze data used in settling claims to ensure that claims are valid and that settlements are made according to company practices and procedures - Prepare reports to be submitted to management. |

| Qualification Requirements: | - Applicant must be a college graduate with a degree in Business Administration and possess a minimum of 3 years experience in insurance adjusting. - Applicant must have excellent communication (written and oral) skills. - Applicant must have computer skills and is knowledgeable in claims application software. - Applicant must have knowledge of a variety of subjects, including law, medicine, property values, construction, surety and the costs and methods of repairing and replacing all kinds of property. - Applicant must be knowledgeable and experienced in the development of Loss Reserves and is required to some degree a background in Actuarial Analysis. |
