| Job Duties: | • Responsible for administration of construction contract works, and assist the Project Manager with prompt exchange of correspondence, submittals, and RFI’s to all contractors. • Orient, assign, and supervise the construction inspection staff on a daily basis so that all contractor activities are adequately covered. • Supervising and remain vigilant regarding all aspects of the construction activities. Respond with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with contract documents. • Coordinating the interface of the construction work with other contractors on the site. Orient inspectors to verify that contractor is following his approved site Health & Safety plan. • Assisting the Client and PM team in negotiations with the contractor regarding the value of claims or changes in schedule. • Reviewing the contractor’s progress at all times. Monitor the material incorporated in the work, the materials stored at the site, and the contractor’s manpower and equipment. • Attending weekly, monthly, and other progress meetings AS required by the Clients. Identify constraints and recommend corrective measures. • Reviewing inspector’s daily reports and preparation of engineer’s daily diary, and general oversight of inspector’s daily activities including works assignments, on-site performance, and guidance on the supervision of the contractor’s operations. • Coordinating with contractor’s supervisory personnel regarding schedule, sequence, and method of work. • Continuous inspections and consultation with the SRE including the preparation of written and oral reports to the PM on contractual and procedural matters. • Specific Skills Required; o Excellent working knowledge of industry practices/safety/quality management systems. o High level of critical thinking skills. o High level of management skills. o Clear verbal communication skills. o Understanding of contract documents and specifications. |

| Qualification Requirements: | -Bachelor/College Degree in Civil Engineering. -Minimum 5 years Construction Management experience in Horizontal/Vertical Projects. -Computer literate (word, excel MS project, Autocad) -Excellent knowledge of industry practices, site safety & quality assurance. -Clear verbal & written communication skill. -Familiarity w/ Federal Aviation Admin (FAA) contract docs (Specs, schedules, AC Circular) -Work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines -Attend, lead & document progress meetings -Experienced in interacting with Client, PM, Team, Contractors and other Stakeholders. -Accurate & vigilant Construction Management -Ability to administer contract documents -Familiarity with Commonwealth Ports Authority operation, security and other requirements. -Ability to review contractor's report, daily diary & oversight of inspectors activities. |
