| Job Duties: | Cleans heavy equipment and plant equipment using sand paper, sand blaster and needle gun in preparation for painting. Primes, sands, seals, patches and paints cleaned surfaces utilizing all types of painting materials such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex epoxy, water proofing and heat resistant finishes. Tapes, flushed, repairs and applies texturing, wallpaper and acoustic layers on a variety of surfaces. Adjust colors when necessary, utilizes enhanced finishing skills when appropriate. Calculates amount of required materials and estimate costs. Erects scaffolding, rigging and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes and does all other related duties as assigned. |
