Job Title: Marketing Manager
Job Duties: The Travel Industry Marketing (TIM) Manager, Korean is responsible for directing and managing the day-to-day DFS Saipan Travel Industry Marketing operations for the Korean tourist market in Saipan. 1. Responsible for directing and managing the day-to-day DFS Saipan Travel Industry Marketing operations for the Korean tourist market in Saipan; 2. Play an active role within the Korean Marketing Committee of the Marianas Visitors Authority and support and assist the committee to establish the ongoing Strategic Marketing Plan and the policies for its implementation, working with the Sales Division and Strategic Marketing President; 3. Conduct and direct the continuous demographic and sociological analysis of the travel industry market conditions and economic data, and collect and analyze syndicated market research studies to assist senior executive management in the establishment of effective and efficient marketing programs for the target market;; 4. Monitor publicity and marketing strategies, policies, budget and procedures, and recommend pricing for products and promotional programs; 5. Develop and prepare comprehensive market and economic reports to provide guidelines and achievable benchmarks for sales and marketing activities of the company; 6. Develop appropriate action plans to provide for effective and efficient marketing training programs for marketing professionals as well as for Point of Sale (“POS”) staff members; 7. Work closely with the travel industry representatives, the Marianas Visitors Authority and other stakeholders in order to increase visibility of the company and identify marketing opportunities in conjunction with third parties, products and services; and; 8. Otherwise ensure that the company’s marketing operations for the Korean travel industry market are carried out efficiently according to the broad marketing strategy, and in accordance with DFS group’s established international marketing policies, guidelines and brand management programs.

Qualification Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in Travel Industry Marketing (TIM) management, creating and implementing promotional campaigns, and training marketing staff. Experience must include the development of TIM promotional programs, brand and partner performance data research, and development of action reports for sales and market intelligence. Fluency in Korean and English. Proficient knowledge of computer skills essential.
