Job Title: | Procurement & Logistics Engineer |
Job Duties: | 1. Implement and supervise the order planning approved by General Manager, procure all necessary goods and materials according to the planning, reduce expenses within budget, and mitigate risks aroused by market instability. 2. Research, analyze, and evaluate the demand and consumption of goods and materials of target market and various departments, investigate supply channels and market dynamics, and determine the demand and timing of procurement. 3. Improve the procurement system of the company, develop and optimize the procurement process, and control procurement quality and cost. 4. Examine procurement plans submitted by various departments, plan as a whole to determine the scope of procurement. Reduce unnecessary expenditures, and ensure maximized material supply with effective use of capital. 5. Participate and supervise the business negotiations for large-quantity goods purchase ordering. Inspect the implementation and performance of contracts. 6. Monitor the conditions of project logistics. Control unreasonable materials procurement and expenditure. 7. Carry out assessment, verification, management, and examination of suppliers. Establish good relationship with suppliers and conduct business exchanges according to the principle of equality and mutual benefit. 8. In accordance with production progress and contractual requirements, arrange reasonable logistics route in order to reduce logistics cost. |

Qualification Requirements: | 1. Minimum 5 years’ working experience in procurement or logistics. 2. Holder of Senior Purchaser Certificate (Level I) preferred. 3. Good Knowledge of construction specifications and requirements with regard to materials purchasing and materials management. 4. Professional ethics, strong sense of responsibility and able to station in Saipan for the duration of contract. 5. Salary commensurate with experience. |
