| Job Title: | Fixed Assets Accountant |
| Job Duties: | • Produce financial data relating to fixed assets that is accurate, timely and in compliance with US and International Accounting Standards as well as US Tax laws. • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to be used for internal management reporting including capital expenditure. • Prepare entries of additions, disposals, depreciation and accruals for general ledger and FAR. • Ensure the appropriate accounting and tax treatment of all the Company's assets, including leased assets. • Review reconciliations between FAR and the general ledger. • Interact with the Construction group and other departments to ensure fixed assets costs are properly classified, determined and recorded. • Maintain tagging system for all the Company's assets. • Conduct periodic physical stocktake on the Company's assets. • Ensure Capex and Depreciation budgets are prepared in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policies and procedures. • Ad hoc projects as assigned by management. |
