Job Title: Cashier (Supervisor)
Job Duties: Provide department schedule for staff members to cover all needed hours while adhering to the labor hours allocated to the department by the General Manager. Adhere to posted schedule and lead staff through breaks and lunches. Accurately approve labor hours including but not limited to, time sheets, attendance logs, and time off request forms using Attendance on Demand. • Approve employee time sheets on biweekly bases through Attendance on Demand. Correct missed punches and acknowledge any exceptions prior to approving time sheets. • Provide performance feedback and coaching on a regular basis and provide direction and problem resolution to employees. Provide daily management to employees; motivate, recognize, reward, train, and assist in problem solving. • Analyze, prioritize, and act quickly to ensure that every detail related to customer transactions are addressed as soon as possible. • Perform all tasks related to running a cashier boot including but not limited to, cash/check/credit card. • Maintain the security and accuracy of change funds issued to cashier boot.

Qualification Requirements: These occupations usually require a high school diploma. Must have knowledge with cash handling, balancing, and deposit preparation. Position requires a basic understanding of the principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, and training. Must have a basic understanding of the principles and procedures needed to provide a high level of customer service and meet customer needs. Must have knowledge of Company security policies and procedures involving money. Must be able to motivate, develop, and direct people as they work by using active listening, monitoring, and critical thinking skills. Position requires good organizational skills and the ability to recognize details and make appropriate adjustments with limited information. Accurately running the register and assisting with all types of customer transactions is required. Must have the ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, and use problem sensitivity to recognize a problem and address it accordingly. The ability to provide performance feedback and coaching on a regular basis as well as providing direction and problem resolution to employees is required
