| Job Duties: | To provide quality care to infant, toddler, pre-school and school age children in a nurturing and safe environment. To create and implement age appropriate lesson plans. To support children's emotional and social development and encouraging understanding of others and positive self concept. To communicate with parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviours and other related issues. TO keep and maintain records of each child, including daily observations and information about health, activities, meals served and medication administered. To identify signs of emotional and developmental problems in children and to bring them to parents or guardians attention. Perform general administration tasks such as taking daily attendance, paperwork’s and making phone calls. Attend to children's basic needs such as feeding them, dressing them and diaper changing. To teach children basic personal hygiene and basic self help skills. To perform basic housekeeping duties. |
