Job Title: Vice President Hotel & Food and Beverage
Job Duties: The VP, Hotel & F&B directs the overall operation of an assigned hotel to maximize performance, profitability and return on investment by creating a positive and productive work environment and ensuring superior guest service and compliance with quality and operational standards for Hotel Operations. He/she directs, manages and supports the entire Food and Beverage Operations team in the execution of the company’s food and beverage operations and ensures the highest level of guest satisfaction with the company/s food and beverage related products and services. This includes but is not limited to leading the strategic efforts to drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of the culinary programs as well as strategic oversight for F&B specifications, quality, food delivery, bar operations, mixology and training of a diverse staff. Typical Duties: • Develops and monitors the performance of financial and operational plans which support the overall objectives of the hotel and operating division; develops the annual budget and business plan, and makes recommendations for capital improvements to enhance the assets of the hotel and ensure brand loyalty • Oversees the delivery of superior services to all guests ensuring the utmost quality and care is delivered including prompt response to requests and the effective resolution of all complaints to the satisfaction of guests • Ensures that product quality and service standards are met in all areas of the hotel as pertains to physical appearance, maintenance and cleanliness. Establishes and maintains preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the hotel • Oversees the development and execution of marketing plans and yield management efforts to maximize revenue generation, RevPAR and occupancy levels. Maximizes room revenues and profits by anticipating and planning for market shifts. Ensures the development of strategic marketing opportunities and tactical sales plans • Maximizes food and beverage revenues by ensuring optimal use of banquet/outlet space and most cost-effective management of the hotel's food and beverage outlets • Works closely with regional operating team in ensures optimum staffing levels relative to volume and productivity levels in all areas of the hotel. Maximizes training initiatives and plans to drive efficiencies and enhance operating and service performance of the hotel • Develops and maintains rapport with key community contacts to ensure a visible presence in the local community. • Provides regular and adhoc information and status reports to CEO/COO as requested on the financial and operational performance of the hotel against the plan • Establishes and maintains a proactive human resources function to ensure employee motivation, training Fosters the development of a positive work environment for all employees. Mentors all levels of employees through formal and informal meetings, discussions and performance feedback • Works effectively with staff to address cultural and/or work environment issues so as to affect positive employee and guest experiences • Create and implement Sales & Marketing programs to achieve greater profitability through increasing average rate, overall occupancy and business volume. • Devises and implements strategies to ensure a continuous improvement trend in Food and Beverage guest feedback. Continuously evaluates operational performance and establishes and implements strategies to improve the efficiency and quality of the food and beverage operation through analysis of internal and guest feedback and other established performance metrics • Provides leadership and guidance, and ensures the overall effectiveness of company training procedures, for the entire food and beverage team to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction and eliminate guest service breakdowns • Ensures that comprehensive processes, policies, standards and procedures are developed, clearly defined and communicated effectively to all stakeholders for the successful execution of the company’s food and beverage operations • Remains aware of internal and external conditions and industry innovations and best practices and applies this knowledge as appropriate in managing and leading company food and beverage operations • Prepares and manages yearly budget for the food and beverage operation, including all food and beverage related revenue and cost accounts • Closely monitors financial performance and devises and implements strategies to improve company financial performance • Provides food and beverage leadership and expertise to various company projects and initiatives, including new ship construction, business improvement initiatives, interdepartmental projects and other related functions Financial Responsibilities • Directly responsible for the financial performance of Hotel & food and beverage department, including all non-gaming related revenue and expense categories • Oversees and manages all G&A and associated costs associated with the Hotel and food and beverage operations department, including direct reports, overtime, travel, etc. • Builds annual financial plan and manages forecast process throughout the year for the food and beverage operations department

Qualification Requirements: Minimum Requirements A Bachelors’ Degree from a 4 year college, preferably in Hospitality Management or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum 04 years in Hotel & Culinary and beverage related positions for established companies, preferably in a high volume, 4 or 5 star resort, cruise line, hotel, restaurant, or food service facility • Minimum of 1 Year managing a integrated (Casino) resort in Asia • Proven leadership and hospitality management abilities, with experience at the executive level • Proven strategic business management knowledge and skills, including financial, product, quality assurance, human resources and analytical skills • Strong ability to interpret hospitality industry dynamics • Strong organizational, planning and communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of employees • Familiarity with different countries and exposure to different cultures is important • Previous experience in Large Scale renovation of Hotel / Gaming Floor • A leader with an incredible sense of customer service • Strong business and financial acumen • A strong background in operating hotels in a competitive market. • A strong understanding of the market and ability to maximize profit.
