Job Title: Head Cook
Job Duties: 1.) As a Chief cook, he/she is responsible to cook foodstuffs according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served and know how to determine quantities to be cooked and size of portions to be served, taking into account diets to meet students, guests and faculty & staffs’ need. 2.) Responsible in overseeing and directing activities of workers who assist in preparing and serving meals and must have good communication skills in order to converse well with the team. 3.) In charge and responsible to undertake menu planning, oversee and lead a team and participate in the preparation and cooking and serving of main meals, snacks, cakes, etc. in accordance with specified menus and knows how to figure out how much food will be needed for the week and order food and supplies. 4.) Observe and implement cleanliness, appropriate safety precautions, sanitation, procedures, and follow rules and regulations implemented by the governing authorities. 5.) Will oversee washing and cleaning of floors, crockery, utensils, work surfaces and other kitchens equipment to ensure that necessary hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen and dining room as appropriate. 6.) He is responsible in overall inspection of the galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.

Qualification Requirements: 1.) Preferably with 1 or more years experienced as Chief Cook. 2.) Must have a broad knowledge and experienced in International cuisine such as Oriental, Western, Italian, etc 3.) Must be knowledgeable with Sanitation Codes to ensure efficient, safe and sanitary food production and services and cooperate fully with the statutory inspections and implement recommendations as appropriate. 4.) Must have a strong verbal communication skill. 5.) Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate.
