Job Title: Commis Chef
Job Duties: Participates in activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel engaged in preparing and cooking foods in hotel. Estimates food consumption and requisitions or purchases foodstuffs. Has thorough knowledge of all menus and recipes in his section including the ingredients, method of cooking and preparation of the dishes. Responsible of the storage of all perishable and other food items received in his/her section daily. He/she is to ensure that his work preparation, production and food presentation of all dishes are completed to the exact specifications as per the recipes, photos and cooking methods with the correct ingredients. Tobe aware of new trends , systems, practices and regularly ensuring that the correct standard of sanitation, hygiene and cleanliness is always maintained. Perform other related duties.
