| Job Duties: | Teach students in religion, reading, language arts, science, math, social studies, and physical education. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student. Use a variety of instructional strategies using technology. Maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in and out of the classroom. Create an effective environment for learning. Evaluates students' academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports. Communicates with parents through conferences and other means to discuss students' progress or when problem arises. Identifies student needs and ask seek help from professional staff in assessing and helping students with social, emotional, and learning problems. Supervise students in out-of -classroom activities during school day. Participate in professional development as required. Participate in faculty committee and sponsorship of student activities. |
