| Job Duties: | Provide direction to a staff of accountants and clerks. Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including variance analysis and general ledger review and reconciliation. Ensure proper revenue recognition and prepare revenue settlement monthly. Manage SAP job costing system and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed. Coordinate and facilitate the maintenance of the general ledger. Communicate with Sales staff regarding billing treatment and communicate directly with all levels of management providing full service finance/accounting support. Ensure proper revenue recognition and perform revenue settlement monthly Ensure proper accounting for inventory, capital, and freight Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of journal entries, monitoring transactions, reconciling complex accounts, and resolving any discrepancies. Align with and act as a strategic partner to plant management team to drive maximization of plant profitability Implement corrective actions agreed to in audits Ensure timely and accurate close process for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting Uses analytical skills to identify weaknesses in internal controls or procedures and makes recommendation for corrective actions. Must be CPA |
