Job Title: Director of Food & Beverage
Job Duties: Manages all food & beverage staff by recruiting, selecting, training, assigning, evaluating, supervising performance and carrying disciplinary action as needed in accordance with the Resort's policies and applicable laws. Manage all food and beverage outlets of the Resort, including but not limited to the restaurant, bar/lounge areas, catering and banquet facilities by ensuring that product quality and service standards are met. Prepares weekly forecasts and formulates budget and costs controls.

Qualification Requirements: Title Job Zone Three: Medium Preparation Needed Education Most occupations in this zone require training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree. Related Experience Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required for these occupations. For example, an electrician must have completed three or four years of apprenticeship or several years of vocational training, and often must have passed a licensing exam, in order to perform the job. Job Training Employees in these occupations usually need one or two years of training involving both on-the-job experience and informal training with experienced workers. A recognized apprenticeship program may be associated with these occupations. SVP Range (6.0 to < 7.0) Progressive responsibility in food & beverage preferable in a hotel. Solid time management, organization and prioritization skills are essential. Experienced in resolving customer issues/complaints as well as overall compliance of all health regulations for food preparation. Proven ability to effectively build and foster a team environment and make decisions in a fast paced environment. Proficient with computer software applications. Must be able to work flexible schedule including early morning hours, holidays, weekends and nights.
