| Job Duties: | Working as part of the Saipan Swim Club coaching team under the direction of the Head Coach, Assistant Coach teaches and/or coaches young children to adults. Duties may include teaching nonswimmers up through coaching competitive swimmers. Travel to swim meets may be involved. Assist with organization, coordination, and running of swim meets and open water events. Provide care and maintenance of club equipment. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Three years of coaching competitive swimming experience or equivalent strongly preferred. Must be able to coach young children to adults. Must have experience with competitive swim coaching in all groups and all levels. Should be willing and able to organize and coordinate swim meets. Must have basic knowledge of FINA rule. Must be proficient in all four basic swim strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly). Lifeguard and WSI certification preferred. Must have own transportation. |

| Comments: | The Saipan Swim Club recruits kids from the community and works to instill important life skills through competitive swimming. Our age- group swimmers compete in local, regional and international swim events. They participate in both pool and openwater events. Coaches are American Red Cross certified lifeguards with extensive coaching experience. They provide structured training in a fun and supportive environment that not only improves swim technique, but builds teamwork, confidence, responsibility and friendships. SSC kids have a lot of fun! |
