| Job Duties: | The Sous Chef is responsible for supervising, organizing and participating in preparation of food items according to specifications and basic recipes. The Sous Chef keeps chillers and work areas in good sanitary condition; requisition food items; store and rotate food properly. The Sous Chef coordinates food production activities of establishment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. The Sous Chef establishes and maintains smooth function of food production in accordance with company, federal and local standards using designated food specifications. |
