| Job Duties: | Determine and verify boundaries of property, create maps and plan the development of land. -Using high precision measuring devices such as an electronic distance meter measures and record land features such as elevation of the ground, utility poles, sewer manholes, or archaeological artifacts using data collectors and transmits the gathered data to a laptop computer or office PC for data processing and mapping creations such as a asbuilt survey map or a topographical map. -Research legal boundaries of property in public records and other documents such as deeds, legal records and recorded maps. -Prepare electronic files of maps required by engineers for preliminary designs. -If requires prepare lot parceling or subdivision for clients that requires map for court exhibit. -Perform other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | A BS degree in Geodesy or a BS degree In Civil Engineering. -A minimum of 10+years of experience in land development, roads and hydrographic surveying. -Knowledge of Northern Mariana Islands Coordinate Systems and its triangulation markers and benchmarks data and location to the ground. -Knowledge in AutoCAD land Development programs for lot boundaries, lot subdivision, mapping contours, creating land or road profiles and cross sections for design purposes. -Must know how to operate surveying equipments such as an electronic distance meter equipped with data collector to be able to transmit field data to the office computer for processing. -Knowledge in adobe acrobat, MS office is a must and required. |
