| Job Duties: | SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Shop and Ship Supervisors, performs a variety of skilled electrical preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks to all equipment and performs other related work as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Carry out electrical wiring maintenance and repairs to electrical switch gear and electronically controlled equipment and machinery as industry standard. • Diagnose faults and maintain general • Repair and maintain complex electrical processing equipment, including installation and removal. • Reads electrical circuit diagrams. • Installs conductors, splices cable, builds terminations and does necessary hook up for primary power lines. • Sets poles, strings overhead lines and does overhead line maintenance. • Lays underground conduit for electrical lines and installs low voltage electrical lines and conduits for telephone systems. • Completes all necessary documentation in a neat and timely manner. • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures. • Perform other duties as required. • Follow defined Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures. |
