| Job Duties: | Task & Responsibilities • Interprets Engineer's, Architect's, or Surveyor's rough sketches and plan redlines to create and edit drawings • Creates site development plans, site grading plans, sections with surfaces and 3D modeling for planning and analysis, water, storm water, and sanitary sewer systems, drainage and storm water control features such as detention ponds, routing ponds, etc • Design road and utility alignment - water sections, topographic site plans, existing and proposed grade profiles and complex cross sections with road tapers and super elevations. • Prepare and review drawings and documents to assure compliance with federal standards and regulatory requirements for the design and construction of various civil infrastructure facilities. • Assists project managers as required such as review construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents. • May serve as onsite project representative. • Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites. • Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys. • Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data to determine positions, shapes, and elevations of geomorphic and topographic features. • Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas using theodolites, transits, levels, and satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS). • Record the results of surveys including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features. • Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects. • Establish fixed points for use in making maps, using geodetic and engineering instruments. • Train assistants and helpers, and direct their work in such activities as performing surveys or drafting maps. • Adjust surveying instruments to maintain their accuracy. • Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements. • Analyze survey objectives and specifications to prepare survey proposals or to direct others in survey proposal preparation. • Develop criteria for survey methods and procedures. • Survey bodies of water to determine navigable channels and to secure data for construction of breakwaters, piers, and other marine structures. • Conduct research in surveying and mapping methods using knowledge of techniques of photogrammetric map compilation and electronic data processing. • Direct aerial surveys of specified geographical areas. • Determine specifications for photographic equipment to be used for aerial photography, as well as altitudes from which to photograph terrain. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Qualifications: • Experience of 2-4 years or more in Civil & Surveying aspects. • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Storm and Sanitary Analysts (SSA) Software, MS Office, MS Projects, Prolog Manager & Converge. • Familiarity with survey equipments (total station and GPS) for engineering surveys • Proficient with utilizing data collectors and controllers and interface survey software for creation of design and survey information for office-to-field and field-to-office applications • Familiarity with Carlson Civil Suite and Carlson SurvCE is a plus but not required. • The candidate must be ready to assume work assignments to bring projects from conception to completion of design and take it to completion of construction by performing project management and construction management, respectively. • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering/Geodetic Engineering • Masters Degree preferred but not required. • Compensation range US$12.00 - $16.50 per hour depending on qualifications. • Police clearance and multiple random Drug Test will be required for successful candidate. |
