| Job Duties: | • Responsible in selecting and hiring, training and manage employees to run the golf course operations. • Create private golf clubs in building membership, fees, create promotional material, and communicate with the members. • Develop plans to improve facilities and aim to maximize the number of paying customers. • Promote facilities by advertising and organize tournaments to golfers and create public interest. • Generate revenue by acting as sales manager for the entire golf course, expand sales by initiating and monitoring effectiveness of monthly promotions, demand management and demand creations strategies. • Ensure that the golf course meets all debts and lease term obligations. • Ensure that the golf course is not placed in a position of liability by acts of negligence or poor management decisions. • Ensure all expense control systems are in place with close monitoring of all department expenses including for compliance of the Policies and Procedures. • Manage budget and expenses by utilizing labor scheduling tools to follow demand patterns. • Manage staff by providing training, directions, supervision, evaluation and corrective action when required. • Responsible for and supervisor the Greens keeping/Landscaping Department, Transportation, Golf Carts Attendants and the Golf Pros hop, Keeping in compliance with the buy plan and approved vendor lists. • Oversee the care and maintenance of the turf, ornamental plants, shrubs, trees and wetlands on the facility grounds. • Responsible or securing and enforcing all necessary permits (DEQ, OSHA, etc.). Keeping in compliance with all local and federal laws and regulations. • Responsible for setting golf course goals, both qualitative and quantitative. Develop business and financial plans for golf course. • Provides technical, operational and safety training for employees to ensure that staff is working within OSHA, club safety and federal guidelines for safe working conditions. • Manage facilities by working closely with Golf Course Assistant Superintendent and all department heads to ensure compliance. • Perform other tasks as determined and assigned by Operations Director or General Manager. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor Degree in Golf Course Management, Business Administration, Hotel or equivalent. At least 4 to 5 years working in a related field. At least five years working experience management level in the capacity of Manager in related operation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer, personal services and interpret financial data like budgets and expense reports, requiring computer skills, mathematics, and basic accounting. Full understanding of licensing responsibilities and environmental health standards. Requires advanced knowledge of agronomy and turf grass management practices; a working knowledge of golf facility construction principles, practices and methods; and a thorough understanding of the rules and strategies of the game of golf. Requires excellent oral and written communication and knowledge in the game of golf. May require current certificate or licensing as pesticide applicator. Must be able to work under the sun, can stand for prolonged period of time and can lift at least 50lbs . Willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evening, weekends and holidays. |
