| Job Duties: | ·Wash, clean, sanitize, sterilize instruments per clinic protocol following chemical solution specification. ·Follow clinic protocol on infection control ·Operates autoclaves and other sterilizing equipments. ·Strips, cleans and sanitize dental chairs and prepare room for dental procedures ·Prepare instruments, trays for dental procedures. ·Service, clean, or supply clinic rooms. ·Monitors inventory of clinic supplies and reports to manager. ·Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage on instruments, equipment, and furniture’s & fixtures. ·Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. ·Gather and empty trash. ·Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. ·Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. ·Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. ·Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. ·Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties |
