| Job Duties: | The chief operating officer provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. Develops and recommends operational and tactical plans for the achievement of business and operations objectives. Coordinates the implementation of approved plans and periodically evaluates business and operations performance against established objectives and benchmarks. Provides leadership to executive management team. Creates and manages strategies to achieve effective, efficient and timely corporate growth and financial viability. Maintains overall accountability for company operating functions, reliability of all systems and system planning. Prepares proposals, status reports, analytical reports, and manages the systems and personnel to achieve desired results. Oversees strategy, tactical, and short-term operations management. Directs the development, design, operation and improvement of all guest and internal systems. Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company. Reviews all areas of operations for efficiencies and compliance with all gaming and other agency regulations and requirements. Establishes control procedures to permit appropriate delegation of responsibility and authority to directors, managers, and team leaders. Represents the organization at conferences, meetings, or in other arenas. Participates as a company representative at appropriate civic and industry-related groups, activities and events. Promotes positive public relations with guests, the community and internal team members at all times. Represents the organization by speaking or presenting at organizational or community special events and promotions. Strictly adheres to all company policies and procedures at all times. Enforces internal policies as necessary. Maintains a current knowledge of programs, promotions, and all property and company activities. Ensures the health, safety and welfare of all team members and guests. Delegates any duties and/or responsibilities pertaining to team members or organizational activities to a qualified management member when absent from premises. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Four year degree in hotel administration, business, finance, or related fields preferred. One to two (1-2) years of experience in gaming entertainment. A minimum of eight years of experience in executive level management. Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and to establish rapport with senior executives. Must possess a strong ability to synthesize complex or diverse information. Excellent skills required in working across multi-functional teams and supporting business units. Must be able to solve extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factors. Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of gaming regulations. Must be experienced with budgeting processes, financial statements and reporting and basic accounting principles. Must be able to demonstrate all aspects of hospitality and professionalism with extreme attention to detail. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from group officers, regulatory agencies, guests and/or members of the business community. Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings. Ability to effectively present information to top level management and public groups. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and Cantonese. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage. This position requires a gaming license. |
