Job Title: Sales Representative (Fuel)
Job Duties: Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders. Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor. Must take calls from customers who are following up on delivery schedule at any given time. Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support. Must account ticket slips and file per account. Must be able to prepare sales forecast. Must be able to drive around to collect payments from clients and submit the collection to CTSI. Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers. Submits orders. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be required.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Prior experience in sales is preferred, including the ability to speak in the Chinese (Mandarin) language is preferred. Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills. Must be proactive, respectful, and a team player. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software. Must have proven experience in providing in excellent customer service and must be able explain the product options available to customers and make appropriate recommendations. Must be able and willing to work under time pressure and work flexible hours: shifts, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
