Job Title: IT Administrative Assistant
Job Duties: Performs administrative and office support activities for the Information Technology department. Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication and organization skills. Fields telephone calls, receives and assists visitors, uses word processing, creates spreadsheets and presentations, files, and faxes. Assists with all aspects of administrative management, human resources, directory maintenance, logistics, equipment inventory and storage. Manages inventory of assets and supplies, monitors critical level of stocks, sources for suppliers and submits invoice(s) and purchase requisitions. Coordinates between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative and operational problems. Schedules and coordinates meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities. Sends out and receives mail and packages; document handling, sending faxes, and managing files. Prepares business correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite. Prepares meeting minutes, meeting notes and internal support materials. Other related duties, as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in overall job duties and document handling. Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Must have good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology. Extensive software skills are required, including use of the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
