Job Title: Casino Marketing Operations Director
Job Duties: Assists Vice President of with the development and implementation of short and long strategic marketing plans involving events, tournaments, promotions, entertainment and reinvestment strategies. Helps prepare the annual marketing plan and budget that will help maintain and grow a strong local base of customers along with cultivating outer market and new business aligned with the business objectives. Works closely with department managers to develop marketing plans and strategies to grow revenue for their respective areas. Helps coordinate and implement strategic alliances with reputable business partners creating greater brand awareness and financial benefit to Best Sunshine Casino. Prepares contracts with various vendors including entertainers, suppliers, charter companies, transportation, advertising services or public relations agencies or group or convention business. Involved in the recommendation process for sponsorship, vendor selection and property initiatives. Responsible for focusing on identifying emerging trends and issues. Identify and prioritize opportunities as they relate to marketing activities. Responsible for becoming local and regional market expert regarding business marketing issues and make recommendations on short and long term strategies. Work closely with the management of Gaming Operations and Hotel Operations to maximize effectiveness of all marketing activities. Develops, recommends and implements new special events & promotions while improving on existing activities. Develop and recommend entertainment strategies that are in the best interests of the Best Sunshine Resort and Casino. Gives regular ongoing feedback to the management of Gaming Operations and Hotel Operations regarding the reactions of the customers and prospective customers across all channels. Develops and directs the execution of strategies and programs to achieve revenue, acquisition, retention and profitability goals. Directs database and direct response marketing including monitoring print production, mailing distribution, and redemption rates and costs. Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of direct marketing programs and developing new strategies as needed. Responsible for initiatives in the area of Player Development related to Manager and casino host performance regarding customer contact, events, acquisition and worth goals. Ensures all advertising and marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources. Assists with public relation activities and campaigns to promote the image and awareness of the property in the community and geographic region. Responsible for completing performance evaluations, training guidelines / coaching & mentoring programs along with scheduling according to appropriate standards for all areas of supervision. Performs duties in accordance with property compliance and regulation standard. Helps direct reports achieve outlined goals and plans of action objectives by periodically meeting with and assisting staff with tasks and needs associated with the goals and objectives. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned. Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships. Attends and develops in all training sessions offered by Best Sunshine International.

Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, hospitality management/gaming management, or a related field is preferred; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. With at least 10 years casino and integrated resort experience, with at least three (3) years of which were at managerial level or above. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to write effective letters, memos, or speeches. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from staff members at all levels, guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings. Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups. Strong business experience in reviewing and developing marketing plans, marketing materials and collateral. Strong track record of understanding marketing dynamics and responding in a pro-active manner to assure achievement of business objectives. Experience analyzing and marketing recommendations on promotions. Ability to create effective cross-company working relationships and execute on business plan which requires multi-division participation. Ability to draft complex report and material and given lengthy oral and written presentation Knowledge of the gaming, hotel and entertainment industry. Must have excellent customer service skills. Ability to supervise and direct work of employees. Ability to exercise sound personnel management practices while illustrating firm dispositions in dealing with employee issues. Ability to write, prepare standard reports and documents . Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Publisher, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,). Self-starter, collaborative, and highly organized, along with being an innovative problem solver and a creative marketer with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to prioritize and process multiple complex projects and deadlines with attention to detail and organization. Ability to creatively approach challenges and projects and to work both independently and in teams effectively for the best possible outcome. Strong interpersonal skills, writing, speaking, organizational ability, initiative, creativity, and enthusiasm. Must be able to secure a Casino Gaming Badge.
