Job Title: Construction Project Director
Job Duties: Plans, directs, and coordinates, usually through subordinate managerial and supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems; Participates in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation; Provides preliminary pricing for the concepts prior final release to proceed with complete construction documents; Responsible for the management of overall design process for the specific building project, including structural, architectural, and MEP; Attends to all matters relating to bidding; Confers with managerial and supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professions to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems; Plans, directs, schedules, and coordinates project activities to meet deadlines; Inspects and reviews projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, conformance to company standards, and cost effectiveness; Inspects and reviews projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations; Visits job sites regularly to review job progress and quality; Studies job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods; Investigates damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction are being followed; Prepares, reviews, negotiates, or approves contracts or revisions to contractual agreements with architects, engineers, consultants, clients, suppliers or subcontractors; Reviews qualifications of general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on a regular basis; Drafts and administers all trade/vendor contracts; Attends to all matters relating to bidding and qualification of bidders; Reviews all constructions documents with an objective of developing value engineering determinations, addressing potential code issues and compliance with all building safety standards; Develops or implements quality control programs; and Plans, directs, participates, or attends project meetings and presentations to potential investors and stakeholders on current and future schemes.

Qualification Requirements: With at least a bachelor degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or any related field of study or its equivalent. A master degree is an advantage. With at least 15 years of relevant work experience in construction management in a company that specializes in the construction of commercial and institutional buildings, roads, and related structures.
