| Job Duties: | Responsible in formulating the Engineering department’s administrative and operational policies and procedures. Responsible in handling all administrative, operational and regulatory compliance matters for the department. Works closely and represent the department during Executive Committee meetings and top level discussions / representations. Responsible for managing engineering personnel in formulating plans, designs, cost estimates, and specifications for construction, maintenance, and modernization programs. Oversees and coordinates activities of workers engaged in keeping the hotel’s structures and equipment well maintained by repair. Responsible for the overall management of the powerhouse operations and applies technical knowledge on 3512 Caterpillar generators, 85 kW aqua design desalination plants, chiller systems, pumps and filtration systems for swimming pools. Responsible for ensuring the departments’ safety and security by applying technical knowledge on relevant powerhouse equipment, policies and procedures and strategies to protect all the employees, guests, data and the entire property. Responsible in overseeing the operations of the Hotel’s general security as well as the performance of the G4S Security Services. Responsible in formulation, execution, documentation and reporting of all Furnitures, Fixtures & Equipment (FFE) and all other capital expenditures (CAPEX) in close coordination with the Financial Controller / Finance team. Performs other related duties as required by the General Manager. |
