| Job Title: | Assistant Golf Course Superintendent |
| Job Duties: | Assist the Golf Course Superintendent on all phases of golf course maintenance including operations, cost control, and personnel. Works closely with, advises, and coordinates the GC Superintendent on any issues related to golf course maintenance. Directs and participates in the maintenance of the grounds. Designs and implements landscape plans. Administers and enforces rules, regulations, and policies for staff. Oversees the care and maintenance of the turf, ornamental plants, shrubs, trees, water hazards, and sand bunkers on the facility grounds. Recruits, supervises and retains maintenance staff. Conducts employee performance evaluations and exercises disciplinary action. Oversees subordinates in proper and safe operation and maintenance of mechanical and power equipment. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Minimum of five (5) years work experience in golf course maintenance or related field in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Must be able to work early mornings and weekends. Must be able to work outdoors, exposed to nature’s elements, for extended periods of time. Must have knowledge of management and maintenance of greens, fairways and roughs. Must have knowledge of the game of golf, golf rules and methods of play. Must have the ability to anticipate personnel, equipment, and material requirements related to golf course maintenance and repair assignments. |
