| Job Duties: | -Greets the guests with a friendly expression of acknowledgement and good wishes. -Possesses knowledge of the wine list, menu, and specialty services when applicable. -Helps patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu, offering cocktails and aperitifs, suggesting courses, explaining the chef's specialties, identifying appropriate wines and answering food preparation questions. -Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices, identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests. -Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression. -Establishes good kitchen relations. -Enters sales into POS system and processes guest payment transactions accurately and closes out table. -Balances all payment methods with accuracy to sales report. -Keeps work areas clean and stocked at all times. -Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils. -Completes side work before, during and after shift. -Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. -Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs. -Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management. Notifies supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft. -Performs other job-related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | -18 years of age or older. -High school diploma or equivalent. -0 to 6 months serving experience in a high volume restaurant. -Excellent guest service and hospitality skills. -Strong problem solving and listening skills. -Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. -Bilingual (Mandarin-English) abilities preferred. -Ability to lift and carry up to (30) pounds at a time. -Ability to perform various activities such as constant standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting. -Ability to work in an environment where pipe, cigar, and cigarette smoking is permitted. -Ability to multi-task several activities and duties simultaneously. -Ability to function and act independently. -Ability to work well with people, in a team environment, and to communicate effectively both written & oral. -Ability to function in a fast paced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines. -Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, and holidays. -Obtain/maintain alcohol awareness certification and food handler’s permit. |
