| Job Duties: | The Chef shall cook and assist the Head Chef with all the kitchen duties in the Chinese restaurant. Receiving and ordering product. Making prep recipes and menu products to specification. Properly labeling, dating, covering, and refrigerating prepped items for the line. Performing restaurant opening and closing duties. Setting up, stocking, and breaking down all kitchen equipment and line stations. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, line, expo, dish room and back dock. Practicing safety and sanitation standards. Assembling orders, double checking product quality and specifications. Running food as needed. Communicate professionally with co-workers and guests. Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen and equipment. Maintain personal hygiene. Must be familiar with all Chinese cuisine. Other related duties. |
