| Job Duties: | Assess and establish patients’ eyes conditions. Record accurate patient condition, health data and information and other related medical history. Prepares patient for Primary Provider’s / Optometrist’s examinations such as applying medications to obtain eye pressures, dilate patients and obtaining needed and / or ordered examination such as retinal fundus photos, visual fields, B scans, anterior segments scans, nerve fiber layer scans and retinal scans. Receives and carries out Primary Provider’s / Optometrist’s Orders such as measuring eye pressures, applying medications to dilate patients’ eyes in preparation for examinations, obtaining exam procedures such as retinal fundus photos, visual fields, B scans, Blephex treatment, nerve fiber layer and retinal scans. Completing prescriptions for primary provider’s / Optometrist’s signatures. Filling out and dispensing prescribed medication. Educates patient related to continuing care such as proper administration of medication, possible side effects and related procedures. Evaluates patient response to treatment and health education. Prepares and ensures orderliness and cleanliness of assigned work areas and optimal functioning of optical and medical equipment within the assigned work areas. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must have passed NCLEX-LPN and CNMI LPN License. At least one to four years experience is required; Must have a high level of standard of patient care especially in eye care; With good communication skill and can compose correspondences; Can work under minimum supervision and be able to multi-task; Self-transportation. Must have specialized knowledge, in computer programs, and relating to health care operations (medical billing, patient electronic records, and scheduler). Flexible schedule for travelling. |
