| Job Duties: | Oversee the Japanese kitchen in a hands-on role to deliver consistent quality in order to achieve the maximum level of guest satisfaction. Responsible for the preparation of high quality Japanese meals in accordance with fine dining standards, menu specifications and production schedules. Responsible for overseeing cooks in the preparation of meals, while meeting required safety, hygiene and quality standards. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Requires a degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent, with emphasis in Japanese cuisine, the Teppanyaki style.Employees in these occupations usually need one or two years of training involving both on-the-job experience and informal training with experienced workers. A recognized apprenticeship program may be associated with these occupations. Experience in cooking and supervising the production of Teppanyaki style cooking. Have exceptional knife skills, and presentation ability, with creativity and skills to entertain customers. Have knowledge of food and hygiene regulations (HACCP). A team player and demonstrate organizational skills. Have excellent interpersonal skills and confidence. Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Flexible and willing to assist as needed to ensure all restaurant standards are met. Be able and willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evenings, weekend and holidays. |
